After meeting @JanLiphardt and @paigeinsf from @openmind_agi my interest for this project had been and is still very high. So the latest announcement that Pi Network Ventures, the venture arm from Pi had been invested into Openmind made me actually stop for a moment. The reason is that the bars and expectations from Openmind is quite high, as Opensource Robotic OS. Don't exactly know how Pi Network Ventures is operating, but I am personally not a big fan of the PI Network project itself, as I still can't really see what the value of this project is. Prove me wrong, but it is as it is. So, it means that Pi Network invested probably into a higher FDV value into Openmind, and Openmind is announcing this because the Venture investment is not only about getting money, but getting smart money. Pi Network has indeed an army of casual users that are running the PI nodes and it seems that Openmind is tapping into this resources to use it for their network. If that strategy works, it would mean that the Pi Network is going to be leveraged for the future Robotics OS infrastructure. It could be a real world usecase for PI and definitely a trust base win for Pi Network. Still need to think about why it had to be Pi Network, as they are a ton of other alternatives for this kind of cooperation, but maybe Pi Network had the biggest upside here from network power side. As mentioned, Crypto told me to be humble about things I don't fully know or understand. My personal hope is just that this partnership is not harming the reputation of Openmind.
